Sparrowhawk Sedge warbler Wren or, the 'star' of the show - spotty.
Spotted crake at Greylake RSPB reserve. The crake was a tricky one to snap, not just because of the reeds and the backlighting, but because (like my efforts at photographing brambling) the head just never seems quite sharp.

These are just snapshots, but they are intended to give a feel of what I manage to see and snap in just a few hours each week ........ plus some not quite random thoughts that occur as I go along.
